We believe that music has the power to truly touch the hearts of people. The language of music has in fact allowed us to elicit a vast array of otherwise inaccessible emotions from others and ourselves. Especially in times of distress, music has the unique ability to relax and calm the mind. For people enduring particularly difficult hardships, the experience can be quite painful and stressful without a source of inspiration. For my brother and I, music has been our solace, and it is our mission to share it with others.
Musical Medicine is a
volunteer organization that performs musical concerts in the Dublin, OH area at several
local retirement homes and hospitals. We started performing in June 1998 and are
seeking to expand our involvement throughout the community. |
